Ultion claims that their smart lock uses an advanced encryption method for transferring data and the Ultion SMART lock has a £2000 security guarantee. Both of them try hard to provide multiple ways to control the smart lock, but they are slightly different. With the Ultion smart lock, you can use your phone to manage the lock via Bluetooth, enter your home with keypad codes, or unlock/lock the door with a physical key like it’s a traditional lock.

The Yale Conexis has more options such as RFID tags. But the flaw is that it does not come with a physical keyhole on its lock. Both smart locks are equipped with a smart auto lock/unlock feature, which unlocks the door automatically and you just need to have your phone with you but don’t even need to touch it.

Both Yale Conexis L1 and Ultion Smart supports Amazon Alexa and third-party hubs like Samsung SmartThings (The Yale Conexis L1 requires a separate wireless z-wave module). However, if you have an Apple Homekit system at home and want to directly connect your smart lock to Apple Homekit, the Ultion Smart lock is a better option as it has a special edition for Homekit.

Pricing

The Ultion Smart lock is a little bit more expensive than the Yale Conexis in terms of price. Although the Yale Conexis alone retails at £170 at Amazon, you need to pay for its added accessories (tags or Z-wave module). The Ultion Smart lock is £259, and you can get the bundle with a wireless keypad at the price of £318.
